Alannah Mason is a boundless Artist. Since 2006 she has worked professionally as an Artistic Entertainer offering makeup services, costumed entertainment, balloon sculptures, murals, workshops, magic shows, face painting, fine art, body painting, tattoo rendering, ballroom dancing lessons, hula dancing and belly dance lessons, as well as performances. The City of Kitchener named her Artist Extraordinaire. She won an award for Best Artist in 2010 and was nominated for Visual & Performing arts.
Her mother went to University for a Bachelor of Arts but did not pursue art as a career; had Alannah and she became her greatest creation! Since the age of 5 Alannah was drawing beautiful images. Growing up Alannah painted the back drops for the school plays, was in the Arts committee, drew comics for the paper, used calligraphy for the Pep rally school certificates, was paid by classmates to do their drawing homework for them, and eventually started running her own classes at Community Centres & Studios for painting, scrapbooking and dance for 8 years.
Alannah traveled the globe to perfect her skills, took workshops, went to College and refused to say no with any creative initiative. Alannah said, "If I didn't know how to do something I couldnt rest, until I had figured it out. It was fun, challenging, and always worth it in the end".
Alannah speaks at public schools about being an Independent Artist and has been a Co-op Teacher. She also worked with Cirque du Soleil and currently resides in Toronto, with 8 Agents actively promoting her talents across North America. Alannah continues, “Making visions a reality”.
